Überblick
Borussia ruft! Wir dürfen wieder im Herzen des Tischtennissports spielen und treten an acht bis neun Tischen in der Staufenhalle von Borussia Düsseldorf gegeneinander an.
Geplant sind sowohl ein Einzel- wie auch ein Doppelwettbewerb in drei unterschiedlichen Leistungsklassen. In Abhängigkeit von der Anzahl der Teilnehmenden wird voraussichtlich in der Vorrunde ein Gruppensystem, in der Hauptrunde ein einfaches Knockout-System gespielt.
Overview
Borussia is calling! We can play again in the heart of table tennis and compete at eight to nine tables against each other in Borussia Düsseldorf’s Staufenhalle.
Single- as well as double-competitions are planned in three different levels. Depending on the number of participants there might be a group system in the preliminary round while the knockout-system will apply in the main round.

Aufgrund der Hallenbedingungen ist die Teilnehmendenanzahl auf 36 beschränkt. Sollte die herkömmliche Registrierung nicht mehr möglich sein, kannst du dich auf eine Warteliste setzen lassen. Schreibe dazu bitte eine E-Mail an register@duessel-cup.de und nenne in der E-Mail deine Sportart, dein Level und ob du Einzel und/oder Doppel spielen willst; bei Doppel auch den Namen und E-Mailadresse deines Doppelpartners/deiner Doppelpartnerin bzw. „Blind Date“.

Due to the location’s conditions, the number of participants is limited to 36. If the traditional registration is no longer possible, you can be put on a waiting list. To do so, please write an email to register@duessel-cup.de and state in the email your sport, your level and whether you want to play singles and/or doubles; for doubles, please also state the name and email address of your doubles partner or „blind date“.
Gebühren
Teilnahmegebühr für Tischtennis pro Person 39,00 EUR.
Fees
Participation fee for table tennis per person EUR 39.00.
Verpflegung
Ein warmes Mittagessen (omnivor und vegan), Obst, Snacks, Kaffee und Wasser stehen zur Verfügung und sind in der Teilnahmegebühr enthalten.

A hot lunch (omnivorous and vegan), fruit, snacks, coffee, and water are available and included in the participation fee.

Anreise
ÖPNV:
Von der Haltestelle „Staufenplatz“ (Straßenbahn-, Bus- und U-Bahn-Linien U73, U83, M1, M2, 730, 733, 709) sind es ca. 200 m Fußweg zur Halle.
Auto:
Der Hauptparkplatz von Borussia Düsseldorf ist aufgrund einer Baustelle gesperrt. Park&Ride Burgmüllerstraße/Staufenplatz ist aber direkt an der Staufenhalle und in der Ernst-Poensgen-Allee gibt es weitere Parkmöglichkeiten.
Arrival
Public transport:
Stop for tram, metro and bus „Staufenplatz“ (U73, U83, M1, M2, 730, 733, 709), the gym is in approx. 200 m walking distance.
Car:
The main parking lot at Borussia Düsseldorf is closed due to construction work. However, the Park&Ride Burgmüllerstraße/Staufenplatz is located directly next to the Staufenhalle, and there are additional parking options on Ernst-Poensgen-Allee.
Regeln
Wir spielen nach den Regeln des DTTB oder der ITTF. Ein Match wird je nach Spielphase mit zwei oder mit drei Gewinnsätzen gespielt. Alle Spiele werden mit 40mm Bällen (weiß) gespielt.
Bitte bei der Registrierung die Spielstärke mitteilen, sodass eine sinnvolle Gruppeneinteilung erfolgen kann.
A-Klasse
Sehr gute Spieler*innen mit regelmäßigen Ligaspielen.
B-Klasse
Gute Hobbyspieler*innen mit fortgeschrittener Spielerfahrung, auch außerhalb einer Liga.
C-Klasse
Diese Klasse wird von Spieler*innen bespielt, die noch keine oder geringe Turniererfahrung haben und noch an der eigenen Schlagtechnik arbeiten.
Bitte bewerte deine Leistungsklasse fair! Bei den Doppelspielen bestimmt das Niveau des/der stärkeren Partner*in die Spielklasse. Sollte es Unsicherheiten zum eigenen Level geben, helfen wir vorab per E-Mail gerne weiter.
Um die Fairness gegenüber allen Spieler*innen zu gewährleisten, behält sich die Turnierleitung das Recht vor, die Einstufung gegebenenfalls anzupassen.
Rules
The rules of the DTTB or ITTF will apply. Depending on the stage of the game, a match is played with two or three winning sets. All games are played with 40 mm balls (white).
Please inform us about your play level during the registration. The classification will be set reasonably.
Level A
Very good players with regular matches in a league.
Level B
Good hobby players with advanced playing experience, also outside a league.
Level C
This class is played by players with no to little tournament experience who are still working on their own stroke technique.
Please rate your level fairly! In doubles matches, the level of the stronger partner* determines the playing class. If you are unsure about your level, we will be happy to help you in advance by email.
To ensure fairness to all players, the tournament committee reserves the right to adjust the classification if necessary.
